We Are Still Here

Yulia’s accident in 2021 changed our lives forever and Yulia’s journey has certainly been longer than mine. What is Wobbly now? What is Dance/Life now? Right now Dance is Love. Dance is a PJ Harvey lip sync to “Bring You My Love” while pressed side by side into a single hospital bed, a rare calculated pleasure with the last of our caregiver team who knew the crip geometry well enough to Hoyer lift Erik into her bed. Erik was incidentally wearing his purple Wobbly t shirt that day but it fits. This is Wobbly now. We are still here.
